COLLECT AND ORGANIZE YOUR DOCUMENTS
Taking the time to get all of the required documents organized before you meet with a CCNB mortgage specialist can help simplify the process and help move things along quickly.

CCNB’s mortgage calculator allows you to hypothetically plug in some numbers to help you analyze your financial needs and see what your monthly budget allows. Remember this is just a place to start and does not guarantee approval, or factor in all expenses like taxes, insurance or HOA dues. A mortgage calculator will only help you get started. PRE-QUALIFY AND/OR MEET WITH A MORTGAGE SPECIALIST
Consider getting pre-qualifed for your loan. This step will help you determine how much of a mortgage loan you can afford and will be especially helpful when it comes time for you to make an offer on your new home. At any time, you are welcome to meet with a CCNB mortgage specialist who will be happy to review your own unique situation, and help guide you through the process.

APPLY FOR YOUR MORTGAGE
During this step, you will be asked to submit information about the property you wish to purchase and provide details regarding your personal finances. Once reviewed, qualified buyers will receive a “Loan Estimate” statement detailing your mortgage rate and corresponding annual percentage rate. View our mortgage application by clicking here.

PROPERTY APPRAISAL
CCNB’s mortgage team will schedule an appraisal of your property, after which we will contact the closing attorney to prepare the title search, arrange a title insurance binder, and provide copies.

UNDERWRITING PROCESS
After your property appraisal is complete, we will review the documentation you provided when you applied for your mortgage. If all required documents have been submitted and meet our underwriting standards, the underwriter will issue final loan approval.

DETERMINE A CLOSING DATE
Your CCNB Mortgage Specialist will help you select a closing date that’s convenient for you and your real estate agent. Your loan officer will also review any final details with you to ensure your closing will go as smoothly as anticipated.

THE CLOSING PROCESS
You will sit down with your attorney and sign all of the required paperwork to complete your loan closing.
