Robert P. Hucks II, is Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at Coastal Carolina National Bank. Hucks has worked in the banking industry for 23 years and represents a second generation banker in Horry County, where he currently resides in Conway with his wife Christi and two boys, Riles and Winn. His educational background includes graduating from The University of South Carolina, RMA Commercial Lending School at East Carolina, South Carolina Bankers School, The Graduate School of Banking at LSU, ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking, Leadership Grand Strand and Leadership South Carolina. Having a strong commitment to his industry and community, Robert serves in the following capacities: Member of South Carolina Bankers School Board of Directors, Chairman of Conway Medical Center Foundation Board, Past President/Member of the North Myrtle Beach Rotary Club, Member of Waccamaw Sertoma Club, and Area Commission Member of Horry Georgetown Technical College where he has served since first being appointed by the Governor in 2018. Hucks is also past Chairman of Little River Medical Center’s Board of Directors, past Chairman of Habitat for Humanity of Horry County, past Treasurer of the Better Business Bureau of Coastal Carolina and previous Board Member of the South Carolina Bankers Association Young Bankers Board where he served for six years. Robert and his family attend Kingston Presbyterian Church in Conway.
