Rick Tobin is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business. Tobin has over thirty years of experience in commercial banking. He is a graduate of the management development program of the North Carolina School of Banking in Chapel Hill. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Ava Gardner Museum and the Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation. He and his wife now live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
