Smith Joins CCNB

Aiken, South Carolina – July 21, 2021. CCNB, Coastal Carolina National Bank, is pleased to announce Mary Smith has joined the team as Vice President, Aiken Branch Manager. Smith joins CCNB with over twenty years of management experience in banking and customer service-related fields.

Smith began her banking career in 2010 when she joined Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo) as a teller. Over ten years, she achieved several promotions, including Personal Banker, Service Manager (I & II), and Branch Manager.

Smith enjoyed volunteering so much throughout her career that she joined our CCNB – a community bank – so she could do more for Aiken. She often speaks to students about the importance of banking and participates in several community events such as Teach a Child to Save and other bank-sponsored programs. Before joining CCNB, she taught financial education courses for newly approved Habitat for Humanity homeowners and assisted in several onsite builds for various local chapters.

Smith is originally from Ward, South Carolina. She graduated from Lander University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. In 2011, she earned her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialty emphasis in Human Resources from Walden University.
