CCB, Inc. Announces Change In Annual Meeting Location
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – May 12, 2020 – Coastal Carolina Bancshares, Inc. (OTCQX: CCNB) (the “Company”), parent company of Coastal Carolina National Bank (“Bank”), today announced that its 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will now be held at the Bank’s main offices located at 1012 38th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29577. The change in meeting location is being made in response to ongoing developments related to the novel coronavirus disease, or COVID-19, which made the Company’s previously announced meeting location unavailable for use.
The date and time of the annual shareholder meeting have not been changed and remain Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., local time. Shareholders of record as of March 31, 2020 are eligible to vote at the meeting. In an effort to support the health and wellbeing of the Company’s shareholders, employees, partners and communities, the Company is encouraging shareholders to take advantage of the ability to vote by proxy by submitting a completed proxy card by mail or by following the instructions on the proxy card (or voting instruction form) for voting your shares by internet or telephone. Shareholders are asked to vote by proxy whether or not they plan on attending the meeting in person. Shareholders electing to attend the annual meeting in person are asked to follow recommended guidance, mandates, and any applicable executive orders from federal and state authorities, particularly as they relate to social distancing and attendance at public gatherings. Should further developments with COVID-19 necessitate that the Company change any additional material aspects of the Annual Meeting, it will make public disclosure of such changes.
Shareholders may continue to use the proxy card included with the Company’s previously distributed proxy materials, notwithstanding the change in location of the meeting.
