CCNB SVP Earns SCBA’S Top Distinction

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – Allison Stout, Senior Vice President/Controller, of Coastal Carolina National Bank (CCNB) was recognized with the Lillie H. Magalis Award from the South Carolina Bankers School. The award is given to the third-year graduating student with the highest cumulative average and includes a scholarship to attend the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. In addition to this distinction, Stout, and her team also earned first place in the school’s annual competition recognizing outstanding performance in bank simulation. This certificate is awarded to the best-managed bank for which Stout acted as CEO.

On July 13, 2017, thirty-one students graduated from the South Carolina Bankers School at Lander University in Greenwood. The program consists of a three-year progressive course of instruction covering all phases of banking.  Since its inception in 1961, the South Carolina Bankers School has graduated close to 3,000 students and continues to be one of the premier state banking programs in the country. CCNB is a strong proponent of the school and has had eight employees attend the school in the past five years. CCNB’s Stephanie English, VP/South Strand City Executive, was among this year’s graduating class.

“Achieving the distinction of class valedictorian is quite an accomplishment, and we are all extremely proud of Allison,” says Laurence S. Bolchoz, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Coastal Carolina National Bank. “She is an integral part of our Bank’s success, and we are fortunate to have her on our team. Our customers will benefit greatly from the knowledge she gained over the last three years, and continue to benefit from her ‘We Can Do That’ spirit and positive energy,” says Bolchoz.

Stout, an Horry County native, began her career as a community banker in 2004 and joined CCNB in 2008. She is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University and holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is also a graduate of Leadership Grand Strand Class of XXXVI.
