CCNB Breaks Ground in OIB
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina — May 15, 2026 — Coastal Carolina National Bank (CCNB), headquartered in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony on April 28, 2026, for its future branch located at 6326 Beach Drive, SW in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, underscoring the bank’s continued commitment to serving the growing needs of Brunswick County.
Bank leadership, local officials, community partners, customers, and residents gathered with the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce for a ceremony marking the start of construction on the new facility, expected to open later this year. Chancel Construction is the building contractor.
The new facility is centrally located and will offer many banking conveniences, including a drive-thru, ATM access, a night depository, and ample parking for customers.
In November 2024, CCNB opened its first North Carolina branch in Ocean Isle Beach at 6649 Beach Drive, SW. This location will remain open while the Bank’s permanent branch is being built.
“Today represents more than the start of construction on a new building,” said Justin M. Lee, Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer for the Bank. “It reflects our long-term investment in the Brunswick community and our belief that banking is still built on personal relationships, trust, and local decision-making.”
The new location comes as Brunswick County continues to experience residential and commercial growth, creating additional opportunities for local businesses, families, and community development initiatives.
